On Monday, 22 September 2025, healthcare professionals from across Europe will gather in Brussels to raise their voices against the violation of medical neutrality. NSGH (formerly NVTG) supports this international action and calls on all members to participate.
Why this demonstration?
- Medical neutrality is under pressure: In conflict zones such as Gaza, more than 1,500 healthcare workers have been killed, hospitals are being targeted, and humanitarian corridor blockades are undermining the right to life and healthcare.
- EU responsibility: We call on the European institutions to provide concrete guarantees for the safe passage of patients, aid workers and medical supplies, and to enforce the Geneva Conventions.
